MAGGIE'S STORY Little Maggie was hit by a car October 13th, 2006, a Friday night. Our county does not provide veterinary services after hours. One of our volunteers took her home, and nursed her until the following morning when a vet could see her. Today, November 14th, Maggie has fully recovered from her head wound. She will have a slight droopy left eye but other than that she's a happy, playful, little pup. Maggie is a 3 month old Lab mix and she is ready for a caring home. FOCCAS will have her spayed, heartworm tested and vaccinated before adoption. Maggie has won the hearts of a wonderful family from Sacramento. she has bonded with their older male Lab and is loving the couch. Thank you to all the compassionate people who have donated funds to pay for her care and vet bills. Her bills have been fully paid but if you wish to make a donation for future needy animals in Maggie's name, you may send them to: FOCCAS, P.O. Box 147, Colusa, CA 95932, or call us at the shelter 530-458-0247.
